Webinar from Nexans: “How CPR (Construction Products Regulation) requirements will affect the sector”

Webinar about “How CPR (Construction Products Regulation) requirements will affect the sector” was delivered live and free through the Voltimum online portal, with the presentation of Nexans Turkey Marketing Manager Ayhan Güngör and Nexans Turkey Technical Manager Kamil Mutlu.

Online seminar has attracted great attention from the sector, where information about the scope of the CPR (Construction Products Regulation), which aims to provide reliable information on the performance of construction materials by introducing a new and mandatory language for reaction to fire performance of materials, and the changes CPR will bring are shared in detail.

In these days where  we are approaching to the end of the transition period (July 1, 2017), participants received answers from the experts on the upcoming changes. Many questions were answered at the end of the seminar such as the use of products manufactured during 2017; labeling and CE marking for cables which are not in the scope of CPR; the final situation regarding the legal requirements & classifications in Turkey, and the type of buildings covered in the regulation.

Nexans Turkey will come together with sector proffessionals and continue its informative seminars on CPR on 12th of May in Istanbul, 16th of May in Izmir and 24th of May in Ankara.
