Nexans Turkey Met the Leaders of the Industry In the 6th International Nuclear Power Plants Submit
Mar 7, 2019Nexans Turkey met the institutions, which take place at various stages in the nuclear power plants, in the International Nuclear Power Plants Summit, which is organized 6th time to share the last developments and innovations in the nuclear power industry.
Nexans exhibited high technology nuclear safety cables generated as a result of knowledge over 40 years in nuclear field, while it met the leader actors of the industry in the Summit.
The team hold contacts with individuals and institutions from different grounds such as public, civil society and academic world as well as companies and suppliers experienced in this field, talking about its production facilities in the plants in Turkey as well as nationalisation and R&D activities.
The event organized on March 5-6, 2019 at the Pullman Istanbul Airport Hotel & Convention Center is launched by the Association of Nuclear Engineers (ANE) and the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ACI) and with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, and considered as the most comprehensive nuclear event in Turkey, Middle East and Africa.
Ayhan Gungor, Nexans Turkey Marketing Manager: “We used our knowledge and experience of the Group in the field of nuclear cables to implement the technology transfer to our units in Turkey within last 5 years. Today we continue to contribute to Turkish economy with our 500 employees in our Tuzla and Denizli plants, our R&D centers in both plants and our R&D laboratory having the TURKAK accreditation in Denizli. Finally, we have implemented any inspections for the manufacture approval stages successfully by the Turkish Atomic Energy Agency (TAEK) between February and March, 2019 and we are about complete this stage. I believe that there will feedbacks of all investment in the nuclear power field in Turkey in next period.”
