Nexans' Poland and Lebanon Operations Entrusted to Turkish CEO Atilla Kurtiş

Since 2020, Atilla Kurtiş has served as the General Manager of Nexans Turkey and Central Asia. In his new role, he will continue his current responsibilities while also leading Nexans' electrification transformation efforts in Poland and Lebanon. Kurtiş will oversee an annual volume of €450 million and manage a multinational team of approximately 1,000 employees.

Attila Kurtiş, since 2020, undertook the leadership of successful management of Nexans Turkey and Central Asia, he played a critical role in consolidating the company's leading position in the sector with his significant achievements both in the domestic market and the area of exports. This important commission, aims to further consolidate the group's presence in Europe and the Middle East and increase operational efficiency. This step by Nexans is also seen as a strategic move to reinforce the company's leadership in sustainability and innovation on a global scale.

Operations in 41 countries around the world, 7.8 billion revenue

Nexans, one of the leading suppliers of the cable market, is in a strategic growth process to shape the future of electrification with operations in 41 countries around the world. Finally, Nexans recently announced that it reached the highest levels in history with annual sales of €7.8 billion and adjusted EBITDA of €665 million in its 2023 global balance sheet. 

Exports from Denizli and Tuzla to 50 countries

With over 500 employees at its Istanbul Tuzla and Denizli factories and R&D centers, Nexans Turkey has demonstrated significant success in the global market by exporting 60% of its production to more than 100 customers across 50 countries, primarily in Europe.
