Nexans Türkiye produces fire safety cables at its factories in Denizli and Tuzla, exporting them to 50 countries worldwide. Last year, the company achieved $128 million in exports, and its products, manufactured in compliance with the EN 50575 International Construction Products Regulation, are used in high-security structures such as data centers, shopping malls, and metro stations around the world.

Nexans Türkiye, a pioneer in electrification, introduced its cutting-edge solar solutions and fire-resistant cable systems during an event held at the Ankara Hilton Hotel. The gathering brought together leading figures from the energy sector to explore advancements in renewable energy and discuss Turkey's mid-term energy strategies.

During the event, Atilla Kurtiş, General Manager of Nexans Türkiye, Levant, and Central Asia, emphasized the rapid pace of transformation within the energy sector. In his speech, he stated: "We are in a period where energy demand is rising rapidly. Global energy demand is expected to increase by 20% by 2030, with 80% of this growth expected to come from renewable sources. This represents a significant opportunity and a critical transformation process for Turkey. Our country must prioritize energy independence, which requires accelerating investments in renewable energy.”

Nexans, a global leader in electrification and renewable energy transformation, successfully concluded 2023 with a revenue of €7.8 billion. The company provides electrification solutions across the globe, operating 95 factories in 41 countries and employing 28,500 people worldwide.

Nexans Türkiye manufactures solar panel cables and fire-resistant cables at its factories in Denizli and Tuzla. These products are not only supplied to the domestic market but are also exported to 50 countries worldwide. Last year, Nexans Türkiye achieved an export volume of $128 million. Its products, produced in compliance with the EN 50575 international construction materials regulation, are utilized in various critical projects around the globe.

Speaking about Turkey's strong position in the cable manufacturing industry, Atilla Kurtiş stated: "Turkey is a highly successful country in cable production. Fire Safety at the Highest Level

Addressing fire safety in buildings, Atilla Kurtiş stated: "Nexans' products, developed through extensive R&D efforts, meet global safety standards in factors such as smoke emission, particle release, and acidity during a fire. These products were utilized in special projects across a wide geography last year, from the United Kingdom to Hong Kong. As Nexans, we aim to raise awareness about fire safety in buildings."
