Powering a sustainable future: Nexans and suppliers forge a collaborative path

Supplier collaboration: Building a resilient future
Collaboration with suppliers is essential to comply with regulations, to meet client expectations, but also to build a sustainable future.
One particularly remarkable outcome has been the instrumental role Suppliers have played in helping Nexans achieve a significant reduction in its carbon footprint. Suppliers have contributed to two-thirds of Nexans’ cradle-to-shelf carbon emissions reduction across Scope 1, 2, and 3—a testament to the power of collaboration in pursuing sustainability goals.
Nexans business leaders like Anthony Ryan, VP Industrial Generation & Transmission, Elyette Roux, VP Distribution & Usage PCA, and Jerome Leroy, VP Distribution & Usage North America, took the stage to share their insights and expectations. They all stressed the importance of strong supplier partnerships in driving competitiveness and innovation. Elyette Roux emphasized the need for eco-designed products, while Attila Kurtis completed with the vital role of supplier resilience in maintaining operational excellence, especially during periods of global uncertainty.
Like Camilo Elton, Nexans Chile’s Country Manager summarized it, by having a strong and long-term relationship with Suppliers, Nexans builds a systemic approach that promotes value creation.
In recognition of the pivotal contributions made by Suppliers, Nexans also announced awards across five categories: CSR and Environment, Reliability and Business Continuity, Sustainable Total Cost Competitiveness, Innovation and Differentiation, and the prestigious E3 Partner of the Year.
Looking forward: Building on a strong foundation
As Nexans continues to push the boundaries of electrification, its close-knit supplier ecosystem remains at the heart of its strategy. By partnering with Suppliers who share their commitment on all three pillars (economic, environmental, and engagement), Nexans is creating a future where innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness go hand-in-hand. With a shared vision and a focus on E3 principles, Nexans and their Suppliers are poised to electrify the world.
“ The strategy and all decision-making structures of my Business Unit are based on E3. It’s a model that enables our business to be both financially and environmentally future proof, and that is based on internal value generation. ”
