Case Study

Approximately 600-700 km of cable is used in a medium-sized project and approximately 120 thousand cable ends should be prepared. Cable assembly takes 3 months.

In standard cables, it takes an average of 45 seconds to prepare each cable end. That's 90,000 minutes, or 1,500 hours for 120,000 cable ends.

The new NHXMH K series cables can be easily stripped and leave no residue. It takes about 20 seconds to prepare a cable end. In this way, there is a time saving of 25-30 seconds (> 50%) per cable end. The preparation of the cable end, which is completed in 1,500 hours in a project with standard cables, is completed in 667 hours with the NHXMH K series. This means a gain of 833 Hours or 50,000 minutes.
