MV underground power cables

Nexans produce XLPE insulated (strippable, semiconductor and water resistant) Medium Voltage distribution cables with voltage ranging from Uo/U/(Um) 3.6/6/(7.2) kV to Uo/U/(Um) 38/66/(72.5) kV. They are designed in accordance with BS, IEC, VDE, HD or other local and international standards.

From a design point of view, medium-voltage cables are of three types:

- single-core cable,
- three-core cable.
