Nexans Turkey R&D Laboratory Accredited by TÜRKAK

The R&D Laboratory of Nexans Turkey Denizli Plant, has received accreditation from Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) according to TS EN ISO / IEC 17025. With this accreditation, Nexans will be able to perform different flame and fire tests with international validity, including CPR (Contruction Product Regulations) tests, using versatile testing equipment.

Nexans, a worldwide player in the cable industry, offering extensive range of cable and cable solutions to its customers, will be able to carry out customer requirements for fire performance type testing on its own, in a shorter period, without the need for third party organizations. Nexans Denizli Plant has also become one of the three units that can provide this service together with Lyon and Nurnberg among the other units of Nexans abroad.

Types of testing that can be done in Turkey with the accreditation:
• Reaction to Fire Tests,
• Flame & Fire Propagation Tests,
• Smoke Emissions Tests,
• Effluent Corrosivity and Toxicity Tests,
• Resistance to Fire Tests
