Cable construction

1. Copper conductor wire: Solid 0.6 mm / 0.9 mm / 1.4 mm

2. Insulation: Solid Polyethylene

Laying up: Twisted quads, quads are helically stranded

Cables from 7 quads on, have two extra conductors of 0.5 mm with perforated insulation (surveillance conductors)

3. Wrapping: One or more dielectric non hygroscopic tape

4. Screen:  One side copolymer coated Aluminum foil bonded to the sheath. 0.40 mm tinned copper wire shall be longitudinally  contact to metal side of tape as drain wire

5. Inner sheath: Polyethylene - black

6. Bedding: Non-hygroscopic tape

7. Armour: One layer of helically applied galvanized steel tape

8. Outer sheath : Black Polyethylene, UV resistant
