Nexans Turkey Employees Achieved to Collect Donations Worth 1 Year Care for 10 Children

Nexans Turkey employees participated to a charity run for the benefit of Koruncuk (Children in Need of Protection Foundation) in the 40th Istanbul Marathon, and achieved to collect donations worth 1 year fund for all the needs such as education, care and rehabilitation of 10 children.

Koruncuk Foundation raises 140 children, who have no family, neglected or abused, in their campus in Bolluca - Istanbul, brought them into society by providing them in a family environment.

Within the context of Istanbul Marathon held on November 11, 2018 and this Social Responsibility Project, Nexans Turkey's volunteer team come together from all locations in Turkey, İstanbul Head Office, Tuzla and Denizli Plants, and has created a corporate running team composed of 47 runners including Jerome Leroy, Nexans Turkey CEO.

During their individual campaigns, the team collected approximately 70.000 Turkish Lira through the Adım Adım platform, raised awareness about Koruncuk by reaching hundreds of people. The donations were turned into hope for the annual care, education and health expenses of children under the Koruncuk Foundation.
